RV'13 will be held at INRIA Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique in Rennes, France. Capital and administrative center of Brittany, Rennes is a thriving modern city with a rich history which reaches back more than two millenia.

Social Program

About 70 kilometers north of Rennes is the famous Mont Saint Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of France's major tourist attractions. We will organize a trip to the Mont which finishes with a dinner at the Malounière de la Ville Bague, one of rural Brittany's many excellent restaurants.

Accomodation and Travel Information

Rennes is served by a small airport with connections to Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Barcelona, Southampton and a few other cities. The TGV to Paris takes two hours. Public transit in Rennes is by metro and buses.

We can recommend the following hotels, but there are numerous other good hotels available:

Most hotels are in center town, but there are excellent bus connections from the center to the conference site. The Google map below (view as larger map) shows a few important locations.


Registration is now open using the web-based registration form, with online payment on a secure website. Please use one form per attendee.

Different packages are available:

(1) Note that a copy of the student card is required for all student registrations.

Workshop only on September, Monday 23, 2013, is 100€.
Fees per person include: admission to the workshop sessions, electronic proceedings, a lunch, coffee-breaks.

Tutorials only on September, Tuesday 24, 2013, are 100€.
Fees per person include: admission to the tutorials sessions, electronic proceedings, a lunch, coffee-breaks.

Extra social event for accompanying persons on Thursday 26 is 100€.

Author registration: At least one author of each accepted - paper or poster - must register to ensure that it is included in the conference program and the proceedings. The deadline for author registration is August 19, 2013. Papers that do not have an associated registered author by this date will not be included in the proceedings.

Cancellation policy: Only written cancellation will be taken into account. Please note that 50€ as cancellation / administrative charge will be retained for cancellation before September 1st, 2013. No refund after this date.

Rennes has been the capital of Brittany throughout most of its history. As such, it has a rich inheritance which reflects in its architecture and culture, but also all the feats of a modern, vibrant city.

Rennes is known for its excellent institutions of higher education and its large student population. As a corollary, Rennes is also known for its good selection of bars and restaurants.
